Josh Hammerstone

Director of Traditional Worship
Is a multi-generational member of Mineral Springs MC. (Sounds like I’m old) she became an official member of the staff in June 2016.
Her educational background is in interior design, “I used to get paid for my opinion. Ha Ha…” She was the Music Director for Prospect UMC from 1997 – 2002; She also teaches Private piano lessons to students ages 3- 30.
I am a newlywed!! My husband is Farhad Hossein; we had a surprise wedding at my parents 50th anniversary March 4, 2018! We have 3 children Garrett Cook, Christina Salyer, Bryce Hosseini and 1 grandson Colton Salyer. Oh, yes our son-in-law; Jeffery who is now part of our clan.
I am a passionate gardener; but not the ordinary kind (like pulling weeds) I like glamorous gardening, cutting, arranging and deadheading flowers ( I really like to Mow but now I just let my dear husband ride the mower.) I love to go to Sonic drive in on Sunday nights and pretend it is 1950 something.. Oh and I’m really into cooking, baking & especially the eating part! (Yes I do take pictures of my food) I am addicted to Pinterest!
I get to help usher in the Holy Spirit into our corporate worship and see the joy on peoples faces when real praise begins. Helping folks worship in the Spirit!

Director of the Bridge
Chris Hartis
Chris joined the staff of MSMC in October of 2019, but has been a volunteer in the Bridge band since 2016. He is a graduate if Sun Valley High School and has lived in Union County his whole life. He’s always had a love of music. Chris has played music semi-professionally since the age of 14with many local and regional musicians. His favorite part of worship is using music to connect people with God.
Chris is married to Donna Hartis. They enjoy gardening and dogs. In his spare time, his hobbies are reading and chess.

Pianist
His church background also includes over 28 years as a pastor, starting as a Youth Pastor under his father in 1986 and most recently as the Senior Pastor of an evangelical church in Morristown, NJ, where he served for a little more than 18 years.
John is the father of three children (all of whom are also musical), and grandfather to an additional three grandchildren. He also is an avid golfer with a single-digit handicap.

Administrator
Pam has been at Mineral Springs Methodist Church for 12 years.
Previously she worked as a Purchasing Manager; in customer service, quality control, payroll, shipping and receiving and she also sells ColorStreet nail strips, Colorstreet.com/EZNailswithPam
Married to my husband, Don. She has two adult daughters, Summer & Brandi
I Love my family and my pets. I am an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, softball coach and player, love the outdoors, the beach, and reading by my pool.
I serve as Co-Director of Lay Servant Ministry of the Rock Hill District, at PUMC I am the alternate Lay delegate for Annual Conference,
serve on Church Council, facilitate Adult Sunday School, serve as the Worship/Altar Guild chairperson, am active in Methodist Women, sing in the chancel choir, praise band, and play handbells.
I love serving the Lord in all I do and working in fellowship with God’s people to His glory.

Pre-School Director
Margaret Worley
Margaret has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from UNC-Greensboro with a major in Home Economics Education. Her teaching career began at Marshville Elementary but the majority of her 31 years of public school teaching were at Parkwood High School where her teaching responsibilities focused on Parenting and Child Development and Child Care Services.
In 2004, she retired from UCPS and by 2007 was beginning to play a responsible role in the life of Mineral Springs Preschool. As the Director, she strives to lead the preschool in new, innovative directions, enjoys the opportunity to teach the chapel lessons to all the classes and the daily interaction with the students and their families.
Natives of Union County, she and her husband John have three adult children, Beth, Anna and Buck, and four grandsons who are their pride and joy. Gardening, cooking and working on home projects are her pastimes, as well as, active membership in Mineral Springs MC.
